It reminded me of how Hollywood is always whitewashing roles n it's tough for a black actor to get roles. They gave a black role to a white actor. They did it in a way that worked 100% and RDJ murdered it.

From reading about it, you'd think it'd be a disaster, but RDJ came thru with the in this role.

Just glad they ain't try to make him be a Sambo or some shyt like that.

I think the fact that he was playing a white idiot that tired to be black helped. The guy he played was so dumb it was funny and the way Brandon T. Jackson and Downey played off of each other made it funnier. Without Jackson there to bring him down to earth it doesn't work.
