Because we judge ourselves by what white people feel about us.

Now, we're apart of the "we're all in this together" gang.

Hell, we too scared to tell Africans and Caribbeans for fear of being call divisive.

:yeshrug: Your grandparents were born in Barbados and Nigeria, mine in New Orleans...I don't hate you, we just different.

Plus we're afraid to take ownership of the debt America owes us.

Ask black feminists.

I quietly consider myself a feminist because I believe I can go places on my own with no help. And that's another problem where some fat White ho will tell me Im not a real feminist because I think abortion is wrong and it is a tool made by whites to keep the black pop down. And again trans people have taken over feminism. :usure:

And it's always cacs. You will not see a black gay person trying to do this shyt. They keep their struggles separate. WAKE UP. It's white people that throw us in with this

And we got lumped in with these groups because instead of civil rights just being about blacks, but it was worded to include "minorities". And blacks tried to rally up other groups to form alliances we always got left on the alter. We get out of it by quietly worrying about our own business going forward.

You can't be mad about discrimination but then be fine with other groups being oppressed. So logically you have to align with trans, gay, etc. or you're a hypocrite

“How do we get out of it”

I.E I wanna do some oppressing!

:russell:White man did a number on us that they’d one day have brehs being against others having civil rights/fighting injustice.

Act like black women don’t exist brehs
Act like black gays don’t exist
Act like black disabled folk don’t exist
Act like the 50’s-60’s radical movements didn’t damn near have multiple people from different backgrounds fighting for a better world.

You comparing gays to slavery

I'm not.

Its just that their problems fall under the category of Civil rights.

You think disabled people weren't/aren't denied basic human rights, too?
Black people were viewed as less than human, historically. We were categorized as “chattel” . Not the same argument and you need to stop promoting the false equivalency.

How does this apply to the disabled or lgbtqacde, white feminism or any other situation?

“the status or condition of a person over whom any or all of the powers attaching to the right of ownership are exercised"

There are differences between a mentality, condition, choice and an entire era that encapsulated a movement for freedom, liberties and economic progression.
