half his covers are bites of metal tropes and everything down from beats to names of songs to the wrestling stuff, almost nothing original or fresh whatsoever. Just a combination of multiple ideas that people never seen someone do. He needs to so you look “why is a black rapper using hitler, why is this album renamed after a classic, why is chris benoit the child killer on the cover” then uses nostalgia to hook ug rap fans. Uses the built in wrestling fanbase to get those fans which are classically anti cool to buy into his stuff.

Then he can take it to rap world and say hes a visionary artist doing stuff noone does and sell cheap knockoff “art” because noone knows any better.
Just draw a scorpion on ANYTHING, splash some paint on it…

For a guy whos whole act is being an artist/visionary… im surprised he dont get called out more.

Its smart. Hes successful. Hes a tremendous marketer. But ive never listened to someone try LESS while hailing themself as great artist. Guy brags about making entire albums in one sitting. Hes a fashionista.

But then again ive seen the coli call every HWH a classic so… it works..

It's not an excuse if it's the legit reason. Is shock value in there of course, either hate it or not. Clearly you do and everything else he does and that's fine I guess

Nobody's calling themselves a Satanist from buying Prada and Gunn hasn't claimed Nazi on either HWH series or any other album. Kanye is wearing a blacked out klansman's uniform, calling himself a Nazi and wasting drums with Heil Hitler hooks.

One of these situations is not like the other and it's so incredibly clear it's almost ridiculous to try to discuss, although people are fine to feel a way about HWH and some of the artwork if they want, it's what he was going for

1. That title was always corny and rubbed me wrong, and the whole "Devil wears prada" flip is a reach.

2. WSG was never on it the way Kanye is. Even though its distasteful.
