I sorta agree, I think 2000 B.C. was to forced with the overdone production..... I don't understand how he was never able to get polished well known producers on his album ....... did L.L. really blackball him like that 
.... like in any other scenario with an artist of his caliber you would have had all the big time producers of the late 90s/early 2000s wanting to work with dude ... but NADA ... just

Buckingham Palace was the only "perfect" beat on that album everything else just sounded weird.

Dude was Jadakiss before there was a Kiss The Game Goodbye. Killing features and putting out mediocre albums.
He should have been like Puff Daddy (He is Puff Daddy again right?) and done an album filled with features where he spits one verse a song and let others handle the production. Just a bunch of random posse cuts.
