How Did Y'all Stop Drinking?

A lot of people just say “stop”.. but I had a plan.

Ironically, it’s a huge part of what I do for a career, but get you a plan if you just can’t stop cold-turkey like that.

I’ve been a party guy since I was 19 years old. Always had paper and endless time (hustling, getting it from the mud). At 39, my relationship with it changed over the years. I enjoy well made cocktails and craft beers (which cost $$$) therefore I now can say “I’m good” if it not something I can enjoy/want. 2-3 is cool, and I’m usually good after that.

I don’t need the stress of it. The juice isn’t worth the squeeze.


My advice: find ways to fill up your time, plus always have some water or something around to drink. Getting full off of that helped kick the need to go out and hang every night

I'm going on week #3 without any alcohol, not even a beer. It's one of those things that I can apparently quit in the snap of a finger.

It used to be nothing for me to get off work @ 11pm and head to the liquor store to pick me up a bottle. I just hadn't had the desire to lately. Not saying I won't drink again, but I've been feeling healthy these past 3 weeks

When I basically started my Weight Loss/Gym Life Journey plus being away from who would soon be My Ex Wife/BM helped a lot,I still Social Drink but Housing a Whole Bottle and mixing it wit OJ and Passing out afterwards while Blazing a Blunt(I do vapes now)had to be out if I was gonna look to change My Lifestyle as a Whole

Alcohol got boring to me, I reduced it to once a week, to once a fortnight to only on special occassions. I barely drink now.

Exact same situation here… after a while the hangovers just ain’t worth it anymore. When I was in my teens and early 20s I used to drink like a fukking fish as I got older other things became important to me and like I said that shytty morning after feeling just don’t be worth it anymore. I barely drink now and when I do it’s a whiskey on the rocks, two glasses max and I’m done.

Them nikkas were addicts lmao. Rockstars fall into heroin because it’s very blissful but addictive. I can’t do shyt when I drink, just end up looking at porn or downloading tinder lol.
Take L-Theanine or/and 5HTP instead. You won’t get high but feel more relaxed.

having the house to myself for a couple days, with a Big ass pizza and some wings, watching anime and playing videogames is the Best thing ever to me ..wife had to fly to Arkansas for a funeral...

I STILL think about them couple nights, man...

I'm a simple man....I don't need alcohol.
