How did you discover thecoli?

As bad as this sounds I found the Coli from a thread on here that was shytting on Haitian people after an article was posted here about a Haitian women who claimed she was mistreated by AAs when she was young and seperated herself from them until she had to deal with the real world where whites saw her as a N*gger to.

At first I thought the coli was one of those wack sites with slow traffic until I took a good look at it and was like whoa this site has amazing traffic.

Issue is it took me a while to register because the site didn’t have a registration which I thought was very strange awkward.



Been addicted ever since. Was looking for something fresh cause City data has been dry. Skyscrapercity as good as it is has slow posting. I use to think LSA was the only active black site but it was mainly geared to women so I just lurked instead of actually registering.

^^^ This. I was on SOHH aka back in 2008. Then I came to The Coli during the great migration. But I originally stumbled across bc I was searching for Ayana Angel vids and JBO popped up and my life hasn't been the same since......

Only other forum I was signed up on was Hypebeast. It got boring over there and the slick and I was already lurking The Coli and I found the why we love black women thread and and some other thread on thick women. I eventually signed up after like a year or 2 of checking out the site

Hypebeasr forums or other fashion forums like Nike.com or solecollector were annoying because there were so many c00n like dudes or white/Mexicans showing no respect to black women etc.

So unless you aren’t talking about sneakers specifically it gets really boring on those sites.

Before today I haven’t visited niketalk in a few years.

But ultimately speaking if I found a forum with the same energy as LSA/the coli where both genders participated at a equal rate it would probably make me get bored of the coli and move on

I kept hearing all over the internet how ugly Lil Durk's (Chicago "rapper") baby mother was, so I googled the hawg's image. It had a link to a thread (on TheColi) roasting her and other rappers baby mother's (DMX , Stylez P , etcetera).

The thread was too fukking funny! I lurked for a month or two, and then decided to join. I don't regret it. This site is hilarious!
