Met my lady on a dating website/app. We decided to meet @ a chain restaurant called Islands. They are a Hawaiian themed restaurant that serves burgers, tacos, fries and is known for their Tortilla soup which is!!!! It is on the same level as a Red Robin.
She surprised me by buying the meal. Yes, I attempted to pay, but she insisted on paying. I didn't come empty handed. Bought her some yellow roses and a house warming gift.
Been almost 2 years strong! No drama, no arguments, no bougieness, no selfishness, no unrealistic expectations, no narcissism, basically....no BS!

I was getting over a break up and had been stuck in the house for months and my coworker bugged the shyt out of me to go out one night because I was probably looking like the world was ending. Long story short, she was at a random bar we stopped at, with her friend who dragged her out for the same reason.
Back that ass up came on. Her friend was staring at me like a Waffle House breakfast after a long night out and pointed me out to her. My now wife grabbed my arm and started dancing on me and the rest is history.
EDIT:
Our first date was to a mom and pop Italian restaurant. Nothing fancy. But I was plotting all night on touching that booty and sucking on those tig ol bitties. Of course, she made me wait a couple more interactions.

Imma tell you something that you may or may not believe..
When I first laid eyes on my lady, I didn't get a spark. Low
, I wasn't feeling her, but I loved our conversations prior to meeting, so I decided to give it a chance. Then, during that time, I had my colon cancer screening done, not to mention, had to fly out of state to bury my G-Ma, so I had a lot going on in my head.
You know what made my feelings change towards my lady?
Well, I loved the amount of support she showed me during that time and she surprised me by buying me a Thanksgiving gift (cologne). I didn't know that giving someone a gift on
day was a thing!! 
It effed me up! Never had a woman be so mature, kind, understand, cooperative & generous towards me in my life and I just hit my half time born day mark! Smh..She also offered to pick me up after my hospital procedure, bring food over, etc..
Lastly, around the end of November/beginning of December, I decided to get into a relationship with her. I
'd @ my life and my past experiences with women, not to mention, 'd at my future ans concluded that someone like my lady is someone I am gonna need when life gets really real! Oh, after we made it official, I didn't have sex with her until Christmas time because I wanted to make sure that she was someone I wanted to be with and didn't wanna hump & dump her!
She was going through some trauma herself, so...
You can say that she grew on me on the physical tip (she isn't ugly be no means), but I always loved her personality and spirit from day one!
We've been going string ever sense!
