How did you react when you found out you can't live forever?

It's strange in all honesty because I knew about death from an early age due to someone in my family dieing but when it came to me being dead? Didn't know it could happen til I was like 8 or 9.

I was talking to my mom and I don't really remember what she said but it came to me that we all die one day.

I didn't even wanna finish my sandwich as I sat there like trying to think why God would do such a thing.

This was back when I still fully believed in God so it was so backwards to me.

I believe in life after death. My spirit is immortal. I guess I just have a "I'll cross that bridge when I get there" type of attitude. As of now I'm like always been that way.
