Me and 2 or 3 of my buddies would put our money together, $10 each (:wow:) and order it at someones house.

We saw a lot of WWF and WCW PPV's while having our own wresting matches :wow:

Saw the PPV Owen Hart died and when Goldberg finally lost and many more in between and after. I miss when people weren't ashamed to love Wrestling :mjcry:

Scrambled screen. So many moments happened. Hearing Pillman passed. Hoegan joining the nWo. :wow:
Dat scrambled TV life :wow:

Listened to mad 1998 ppvs that way. Fond memory of listening to Sting vs Hogan Starrcade 97' in my grandma's basement.
:wow:

Funny story, I remember when the cable company forgot to turn off my free trial and I ate good from October 99-August 2000

My first ppv No Mercy 99 where I witnessrd history before my eyes with Hardys vs Edge/Christian Ladder match

Pre-black box we'd get the ever changing May PPV and SummerSlam for our birthdays. Friends always had the hook up for the others, and when they didn't, I'd hope the company would fukk up and keep the feed going past the Free For All, but would ultimately listen to the scramble and try to make things out. Still remember Taker coming out of the ring during the Diesel/Bret cage match in all of its green, purple, black, and white abstract glory.

Black box was a god send once wwe started in your house and wcw expanded ppv as well.

When we got the hookup my mother was ok with the wrestling but not the spice and playboy channels and told my pops to unhook the box when wrestling wasn't on, his response "my boys aint growing up to be no fukking fakkits'

Free ppv movies,wrestling and porn:blessed:

The stoop with dat dope fanny padding
those ppv thiefin' boxes? just try to hear the ending via scrabble screen?:mjcry: wait til monday?:mjcry: parents ordered?

My parents would order, I got almost every pay per view from like wrestlemania 5 til the network came out. During the wcw's prime with the nwo I was getting both shows most months. I recorded everything on vhs, still have most of the tapes stashed away somewhere at my parents house. Plus I was renting older shows from the video stores on vhs tapes and re watching or finding stuff I'd never seen

I've pretty much seen every single WWE/WWF pay per view and most of wcws aside from some of the earlier ones in the 80s

As a kid, my people wouldn't let me order :to:

My uncle would order them and record them on the VCR and then he'd get it to me within the next day or two

But between the time he stopped recording them and I hadn't found the stream life, I was just SOL

were they fans themselves? 79 bucks a pop monthly and my uncle saw it was rarely worth it

One of my friends pops used to record it cause he had the box. We used to watch the next week on a Saturday

Choppy Streams and limewire downloads when 128K DSL. That's how I signed up to the Hamster there was a huge Wrestling Downloads thread that was upped.

The struggle

I had the black box for the Attitude Era, my brother in law had the card that got all the PPV channels during Ruthless Aggression, and from about '07 it's been streamlife or the Network
