Black box was a god send once wwe started in your house and wcw expanded ppv as well.
When we got the hookup my mother was ok with the wrestling but not the spice and playboy channels and told my pops to unhook the box when wrestling wasn't on, his response "my boys aint growing up to be no fukking fakkits'
Free ppv movies,wrestling and porn![]()
I never had cable as a kid so all I got was the occasional PPV on Channel 4 that I set to record at 1am on VHS
Rumble 2000, Armageddon 2000, Rumble 2001, fed off scraps breh
Started airing the other PPVs on a delay and then got rid of wrestling completely

My ppv channels where 62-66 all we had to do was spot the cable guy a 50Black box with the red digital numbers...
Next day bootleg wave.
damn the tv I had in me and my brothers 'living room' had a UHF dial tooWe always had cable but never the cable box until I was 15 or so. That's when I started begging my parents to order PPVs for me.
Before that, I had a good two year run in the early '90s eating off all of the PPVs for free. We had an old B&W TV with a UHF dial and I was able to wiggle the antennae around to get picture perfect sound and video quality.![]()
