Mom worked like a evening/backshift one Sunday so I stayed up and ordered one of the IYH ppvs. Couple months later when the bills comes in ma comes right to school and hauls me out of class and hollers at me in the hallway

shyt... my mom was a substitute teacher.. and of course.. happened to sub for my school on the exact day I had a parent-teacher conference that I didn't tell her about...

Pulled me out of home room with the quickness to lay into me...

And subbed for one of my classes that I didn't do homework for...

we used to have the box growing up then we had the satellite dish card hookup. That was all thru the attitude era. Then once the new guys started coming in like Orton, bautista, cena, lashley, etc. I would go with a friend and his friend to a bar to watch the ppvs randomly. This was around the time of that Donald trump and Vince hair match. Wasn't too into it then. Took a break and got back into it the night after del Rio cashed in on punk. At that point I discovered first row and other streaming sites. Then the network came out and now I just go over to my friends house and watch it, unless I work on a ppv night, or the football game is more interesting.

Black box that only went up to channel 99. Then they dropped digital cable and moved all the pay channels into the 100's.

I'd either ask my dad to see if he would order it. Sometimes he said yes and sometimes he would say no. I did this especially during the wcw/wwf days.

Another option was calling my uncle to see if he was ordering the ppv. If he was I was over there with him and his friends watching the ppv.
