university has taught me how integral alcohol, alcohol culture, and alcohol related activities are to white people in particular. it's fascinating and alarming at the same time... made me stop drinking, actually. if we had such an affinity for a substance to the same extent, we'd be considered deviant and lacking in self-discipline. 
anyway, how do y'all think life would be different if many of us in our 20s didnt have liquor to turn up with? would we as black people find more productive endeavors to do on the weekend? would we be in the club/strip club sober?
