Ok so I've never been a CO but I have been to jail a few times for a good amount of time and they get nikkas back just not in an obvious way. Another co might do you dirty. They'll sweep your bunk just to throw your shyt everywhere so now inmates see what you got in the tuck. You already going to the hole if they know who did it so there's no telling what they gonna do to you in there. It's a bunch of ways they get their get back. For some nikkas in prison, death is too easy. They'll make them suffer

I'm a cool guy in real life so I was a cool guy in prison. The COs who have to worry about that are the robocops and pussies.

For the most part if a nikka mad enough to do this either they already had a incident with that CO or he just going ham on everybody. It's usually never a surprise as far as that inmate doing something. Most are cool as long as you don't cause problems

Yeah I’ve seen there is more accountability now.But cops for years beat black civilians on tape and don’t go to jail. This country def didnt care if you beat a prisoner.

Listening to those older COs it wasn't too different from the streets. They not just going ham beating anyone in there. They know who not going for that shyt.

Most the people got beat up were the same people who would get beat in the streets. Most the COs cacs and still have that fear of serious nikkas. They usually beat up cacs and fukk nikkas.

Shyt like this is the reason i turned down a CO job at rikers 4 years ago. Passed the physical at queens jail and all that but talking to the investigator about the real
Shyt they go thru in there. The piss throwing and 16 hr shifts. Dude said he couldnt be in a supermarket line with people behind him cause of anxiety etc.


U see what covid did this year in there and the whistleblower CO that said she was working 24 shifts last year and slept in her car she was so tired. U got to be physically and mentally on point at all times in there. U locked up too only difference is u go home to sleep

Obviously it’s not humane or legal
But I wonder if sometimes COs control a population by withholding food. if you put a unit on lockdown for 2-3 days with no food I imagine even the toughest most aggressive inmates would become meek when they realize their vulnerability
I saw documentaries of prisons in third world countries where the prison doesn’t supply food at all so an internal economy evolves and the shot callers keep the peace that way. I.e if you want to eat you have to follow rules and contribute just to get a bowl of mush once a day

Prayers up to u bruh i hope u get promoted to a position outside of them cells. My union rep at my current job was a retired CO. Higher up like an assistant deputy i think was his title.

He said once i get in start studying for sergant exams etc to get promoted but he white. That shyt aint easy for us brehs and once my investigator confirmed that i was like thanks but no thanks. I wouldve cracked mentally In a year or been corrupted by the smuggling money
