How much 45 cent donuts do you need to sell to cover rent, utilities, inventory and payroll?
You’re thinking in small quantities. What you’re not seeing are those weekend soccer team, church, etc large orders of 2 dozen or more. That’s where the volume is being made up.

Dude in Minnesota was making $1000 a week profit reselling Krispy Kreme donuts because the farthest one was 4 hours away.

I’m not gonna lie I have wondered the same shyt .

They close at like 1pm and the price isn’t high .

Even the mom and pop shops that sell the speciality donuts .

I think they sell out everyday so they make their money .
