Like I'm forcing myself as an adult to learn maths because I know it will help me (since I didn't learn it properly in school) but I wanna know how can I make things like linear algebra and the sort with the rest of that abstract shyt feel like I could apply it to real world things?:what:

I'm struggling. :damn:

Help me.:mjcry:

Is Khan Academy a good place to start. I need someone to hold my hand with this. I feel retarded.:mjcry:

Anything? How is that logical?:mindblown:

:mjcry:

A variable means something in different situations that’s what I meant by it could mean anything

okay. You have x amount of $100 bills sitting on your bed. You haven’t counted how many you have so we will say you have x amount

We know each bill is worth $100

$100(x) = how much money you have

you count your $100 bills. And you have 40

$100(40) = how much money you have

$100(40) = $4,000

shyt I had to take Algebra twice in 7th and 8th grade because the teacher thought a C+ wasn’t good enough to move on to Geometry in 8th grade.

I’m so glad she made me take it again in 8th grade because I got better at it

I took Geometry in 9th grade. Advanced Algebra in 10th grade. Functions, Statistics and Trigonometry in 11th grade.

Now I come in the room with a hand full of $100 bills and fukk up your stack adding more $100 bills. Now you have to count that shyt again.

you count it again. Now you have 150 $100 bills

$100(x) is still how you calculate how many $100 bills you have.

$100(150) = how much money you have

$100(150) = $15,000

You were lucky. If I had a teacher like yours I'd made, and thanks for the explanation but what type of algebra would that be.

I'm tryna learn logarithmic functions, exponential functions and complex logic gates.

I wanna be well versed in this shyt and not just one faceted.

I wanna be the smart brother in the room.:wow:
yes it is.
FML. Why is this so hard? :wow::mjcry:

shyt what I explained is basic elementary algebra. If you don’t understand that to a complex degree. You have a long ways to go to get to logarithmic functions. @For Da Bag says Khan Academy is a good place to start. I wouldn’t know. I learned all my math in high school and college.
