I wanna work at a grocery store but who do I talk to? I heard it's better to go by myself than bring my mom but what if I can't find the person to talk to?

Apply online or go to the store and ask for an application. If they ask you to do an interview, wear dress clothes - if you have a suit, wear it. You'll need to be ready for their questions, which will basically be "why should we hire you/what are your strengths/what are your weaknesses/etc"

A CV is basically a resume, but it will give more details about your accomplishments and educational background.

It worked for me, that's how I got my first job , don't be a bagger/cashier try to apply for stocking or produce, or if your job has a gas station try and do that, that's the most chilliest

I think he is only a teen. In your area kids have cv too? How do they differ from a resume?

For a grocery store its better to go into the store usually applications are at custom service. Look presentable, fill out the application hand in your resume.

I've heard or some people getting hired on the spot.

Good thing about grocery stores there are a lot of hours especially if you stock you could even get a weekend night shift.

I work fulltime overnights at a grocery store, all I did was apply to a few of them (online) in my county and two of them called back and that same week I was hired by one of them.

Edit: I got the job with no contacts, so I suggest if you know anyone working at one of those stores then try to get them to get a word in for you.

TBH being on night crew fukking sucks, sleep during the days, no set schedule unless you have seniority but I'd rather be doing this then sitting at desk, Im the kind of person who has to be busy, I hate having downtime while on the clock. The positives for me are I get to listen to music for 8 hours and Ive got to know some real down to earth people. Ive got conspiracy theorists, people into Hip Hop and sports and some guys who are into video games, so every night Ive got something to talk about.

Also if you work overnights you get an extra dollar (at my store at least) and I get even more if Im working on a Saturday into a Sunday. Also no drug testing so that means .

First job is always tough...just look online for an entry level resume.
Keep applying for stuff someone will give you a shot
