How do I get waves?

I havent had a low haircut since I was a kid. I know I need a durag or a wavecap and maybe some grease, but what kind. Do I absolutely need grease? Im sort of opposed to it, could I just use olive oil? Where can I find a wave brush without pig bristles (muslim). Will this require me to be one of those brushing his head all the time built nikkas? If I let my hair grow, it will wave up a lil naturally but not in the back and just a lil on the sides.

all i can tell you is that it takes a lot more than a du rag to get you waves

BRUSHING and wolfing. Du-Rag and some pomade (I use water personally) help with holding the hair down but the main thing is BRUSHING

So Im going to have to brush constantly then? I used some murrays once and it had my hair looking dusty.

any type of mosturizer, I dont use grease.


get a spray bottle grow your hair for 2 months and get lineups in between and brush until your arm hurts.
