It really isnt that difficult breh, I never liked the whole waves look to be honest!
My fellow houston nikka, wus good?Dont use pomade use something light like olive/carrot cream and you dont need to use it daily either (atleast in my case I didnt) once/twice a week. Get a good brush and brush brush bush. Shower brushing is good too but use a soft brush. Wolfing will also work wonders for your pattern, I used to do 6-8 week wolfing sessions and try to keep a doo rag on at night when sleep. Again, dont mess with them pomades a light oil will do just fine & wash your hair once a week. Depending on the grade of your hair you should start seeing a pattern form rather fast using this method. This thread got me wanting to get my waves going again.

I dont knwo of anybody that is unable to get waves with brushing. Certain types of hair makes it easier though. Its usually the softer your hair is the easier time you will get it to wave...hence people saying use water or pomade.lol yall doing the most. either ya hair can wave or it don't. I dont do 75% of these methods and i got them monsoon waves
yall are all basically saying the same things anyway. durag, moisture, brush.
