But yeah, if you're out to help people, you could always try volunteering... people always need non-remunerated volunteers for pretty much everything. From painting buildings to working in the animal shelter. Volunteering at church works better for me because they've already got an infrastructure going on, but you could pretty much join any charitable organization and it'd work as well.

The average homeless person makes about 20,000$ a years just off of begging. In they wanted a change they could afford to do it.

I think it is very condescending when broke people who have done nothing with their lives feel like they wanna help people that actually work hard just because they feel "sorry"we all need help.

It's my opinion that that attitude comes out of a feeling of superiority. if you don't understand that then you are part of the problem
