How do i stop my mycareer team from sucking

I was playing for the Lakers and asked for a trade after 23 games when we were 5-18.

Change your playstyle, learn what works. Your teammates have tendencies that determine how they act in certain situations so you have to learn your team and how to use them.

Usually if I'm the PG then I learn what plays to call. If I'm not the PG then if I can shut down whoever im guarding then everything figured itself out

They'll always suck but get your team chemistry up if you can. They'll make more shots of you do. Outside of that, you gotta baby them. Think Draymond Green on the Warriors. Over help, play the lanes, learn who you can trust to contest shots, etc.

In this 2k you have literally no say on who's on you're team (atleast in 2k15 you had the form big 3 option that never worked) so if you dont like your team its best to just get traded or find one you do like in FA.

If the problem is how they playin not whos playin, try building team chemistry on your off days. Higher team chemistry means they pass to you more, shoot more when you press square.

Another option is to get the on court coach badge. This makes it so teammates will pass to you no matter what and shoot whenever you press square while they got the ball. You basically god of your team. You get it by maxing your playmaking attribute and the inside OR outside scoring attribute. After that play a game then you should have it.

I usually just join a team that can actually benefit from what you're doing on the floor/doesn't have a superstar in the position.

I play a PG and joined the Jazz so I feed Gordon Heyward in his hotspots and Derrick Favors in the paint/few feet outside the rim. I play a pass first game so I'm constantly looking and studying who can score consistently from where and feeding them at those spots. The bonus from the Dimer badge helps too.

Really though, I've found that you just can't control that shyt and it's frustrating, but yeah.

I switch up my position pretty much every year and people sleep on bigs on MyCareer. If you know how to play it is just flat out domination no matter what team.

The hardest position to play in MyCareer is SG simply because you usually have the least impact on the floor defensively, and offensively you can't call plays.
