How Do I Use Multi-window on Note 2

I just updated my shyt (ATT) so I have multiview functionality but idk how to use it

All the vids I watched (1 vid total) had some icon on the side of the home screen that u can slide over but im running a theme and launcher so the stock screen isnt visible

Fyi, there should be a multi Window function in the drop down menu. The little tab disappear sometimes.
