I'm gonna catch up on all the movies being the virus. But I want to watch them in the correct order.

I've seen both thor movies and iron man 1 and 2

All help is appreciated

  • Captain America: The First Avenger (takes place during WWII)
  • Captain Marvel (takes place in 1995)
  • Iron Man (takes place in 2010) <<<-----START HERE!!!!
  • Iron Man 2 (takes place after Iron Man)
  • The Incredible Hulk (time unspecified, pre-Avengers)
  • Thor (takes place six months before Avengers)
  • The Avengers (takes place in 2012)
  • Iron Man 3 (takes place six months after The Avengers)
  • Thor: Dark World (post-Avengers, pre-Ultron)
  • Captain America: Winter Soldier (post-Avengers, pre-Ultron)
  • Guardians of the Galaxy (sometime in 2014)
  • Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (after Guardians)
  • Avengers: Age of Ultron (takes place in 2015)
  • Ant-Man (takes place in 2015)
  • Captain America: Civil War (post-Ultron, pre-Infinity War)
  • Spider-Man: Homecoming (post-Civil War, pre-Infinity War)
  • Doctor Strange (takes place in 2016)
  • Black Panther (takes place in 2017)
  • Thor: Ragnarok (post-Ultron, pre-Infinity War)
  • Avengers: Infinity War (takes place in 2017)
  • Ant-Man and The Wasp (ambiguous, but fits nicely between IW and Endgame)
  • Avengers: Endgame (starts in 2017, finishes in 2022)
  • Spider-Man: Far From Home (post-Endgame)

Release order breh , you’ll burn yourself out watching them all though.

Incredible Hulk still counts sort of because of General Ross casting.

he can skip SOME movies...:pachaha:

especially iron man 2 and 3....everything that doesnt have connective tissue with the overarching infinity stone subplot he can kinda get a recap...:ld:

you can pretty much skip any movie that doesn't feature thor or captain america. For some reason all the movies they appear tie into the infinity saga or are referenced heavily in other movies. The other movies i noticed don't or get recapped enough that you know what happened without watching.

Iron Man 3 for example, nothing in that movie gets mentioned ever again. Dudes undergo name changes and costume changes only for them to be back they way they were before in their next appearance. Things that would supposedly have lasting implications are totally ignored and retconned in the very next avengers movie.

versus Cap, the smallest easter egg in Cap 2 will turn out to be a major plot point in Civil War which will in turn effect the origins of characters movies.

Or Thor might have something happen to him the needs to be known, in order to understand his status and relationship with other characters at the beginning of other movies.

Guardians: Skip, nothing in their movies is important to the overall plot of the saga except for certian relationships which get rehashed in Infinity War and End Game.

Dr Strange: Skip Thor 3 serves as a better intro for his character as he is supposed to be mysterious anyways, plus it makes him seem both more powerful and less nerfed at the same time. weird way to put but i'l explain after you've seen them.

Spiderman and Black Panther are both good and they both tie into movies that took place before them, but realistically leave them in the same place they were before both movies started, so those are optional.

Antman weirdly enough ties in very strongly to the overall plot with both movies, even though it doesn't seem very important.

:gucci: man fxck all that. just watch them all in the order they were released. And pace yourself. No binge nonsense.

Cutting corners and skipping around is only going to make you appreciate the shyt less when you get to the end. Kick back and enjoy the ride. If you go into it just for the purpose of rushing to end game then its not fun. Most of the films are decent and entertaining... just watch them, you wont be disappointed.

All you need to know is that Iron Man 3 is so terrible and pointless it might make you want to not continue. It has no tie ins to any future films and is boring as hell. It was probably the only true fxck up in the whole series. If you HAD to skip a film its that one.
