You got Vick who couldn't find a roster spot in the league this year
Vince Young who has been out the league for years
Terrelle Pryor was forced to switch to receiver
Jamarcus Russell can't even get a tryout
Josh Freeman is out of the league
RGIII, who nfl sources are saying may not even be in the league next year
Logan Thomas had to switch to TE
Darron Thomas went undrafted and couldn't even get on a roster
Nick Marshall had to switch to QB
Vernon Adams went undrafted
Blake Sims had to switch positions
Tahj Boyd couldn't even get on a roster
The list goes on

How these dudes can't even make a roster? They can't even be a 3rd string QB in the league but dudes like Josh Mccown, Brian Hoyer, Derek Anderson, Drew Stanton, Matt Mcgloin, Matt Barkley, Blaine Gabbert, Chad Henne, Kellen Clemens, Matt Cassell, Brandon Weeden, Dan Orlovsky, Scott Tolzien, and Ryan Mallett are mainstays in this league. Sam Bradford gets opportunity after opportunity. So many retreads and QBs that have proven to be awful and are still on a roster.

How do black Qbs who have talent or have shown that they can play in the league not even get opportunities to get on a roster and learn/hone their skills. There is no fukkin way that Pryor should not even be able to get a roster spot as a QB with all his physical gifts but Blaine Gabbert, Weeden, Hoyer, Orlovsky can be QBs in the league.

Is anyone going to actually say that this isn't bias and a clear preference for cac QBs? Does anyone actually believe that?

the 7th word in your title answered your question....it's the same reason you see the same gms, coaches, etc. getting job after job no matter what......and yes, it's been called out/talked about, but the people in power (the owners) dont care and will continue with business as usual....

in college, Most of the black QB's you listed played in offensive systems that aren't used primarily in the NFL

All the cacs you listed played in traditional Pro style NFL systems when they were in college
Not disagreeing w/ u but i think you could have used some better examples.:patrice:

Also, The college game is moving towards spread offenses heavily and and there's always a breh running that. So you're gonna see a lot more black QB's who ate in college get tossed in the bushes by the time they get to the league in the coming years...

... the question you should be asking is how come we dont see more brehs getting the chance to run the Pro Style sets in college?:mjpls:

Aside from Tommy Armstrong at Nebraska I cant think of a single one right now... :francis:

the nfl had been trying to keep the pro game in the pocket
the qb is the last athletic position that they can still market to those that value pallor
yes the game would be much more entertaining if they put top tier athletes at qb and had coaches that cared to truly build around those gifts but for now 99% of the time we watch a brick footed qb play catch for four quarters that's sundayzzzzzz for ya jajajahahaa

vick got mad chances. so did young. and freeman etc. they looked like shyt, so they were out of the league. freemans last game with minny was one of the worst games ive ever seen. teams still gave him a shot after that minny game. freeman played last year. 5 teams gave him a shot. the guy just sucks. logan thomas? :dead:

just wondering how many chances people expect someone like josh freeman to get? he signed to 5 teams. rg3 was signed as an opening day starter this season. logan thomas was complete garbage, and had shots with multiple teams. has jamarcus even shown any interest in playing? vick/freeman played last year, played for several teams. pryor had shots as a qb, switched to wr and is a great talent. young was given several opportunities. seahawks looked vernon adams. passed when they had zero qbs behind wilson. signed boykin instead who was also undrafted. nick marshall and blake sims?
