i just can't see how they tolerate it. that's a regression back into a mother child type relationship where you had to ask your mom if you could do something. talking to this guy and he wants to put a surround sound system in his living room and "his wife won't let him."

bytch what? i got my own job and make my own money. if i wanna take my money and buy whatever i want i'd doing it.

the only woman in this world i would even consider taking orders from is my mother and that's outta respect cause she gave me life. ain't no third party random woman gonna tell me what to do with what i earn.

it wouldn't matter if she had a job or not. there is no ours. i go to work i clock in and do the job. that's my money the employer i work for doesn't pay her. there are no joint credit cards, no joint bank accounts. if she wants to have money she better earn it herself.

Lots of cats do it as a sign of respect for their wife. And vice versa. More of a courtesy than anything. For me, my wife doesn't care and is cool so she never says no you can't.

I'll tell her if I'm going to a bar or out even where I'm going. So if some shyt happens she knows where to find me.

Marriage is about compromise. Actually, me and my wife work. I bought this house before i even knew she existed, she knows that. But she has been a blessing in paying all other home bills, except the mortgage. God blessed me to buy the house, he gave It to me to start a family in, I call the shots, end of story. But me and her are the types, before we spend loot on anything other than necessities, we will call one another.

I'm fortunate my wife isn't like that. I would usually let her know I'm doing something like getting a ps3 etc or going away for the weekend with the guys but its not me asking for permission. Although I can see how some (including her)would see it that way.
