How do men put up with needing permission from the wife?

They realize they are adults with adult responsibilities and that other people love, care about, and depend on them.

They also realized they voluntarily signed up to be in a relationship or have kids and that requires a level of selflessness.

If I have the money to buy something (not even using debt the actual money) none of that matters. If my wife says I can't buy an 88 inch TV I saved to buy I guess I'm supposed to just pack it up and let her word stand? fukk no if I want it and can afford it and planned for it I'm getting it. At best I'd give her a heads up I'm getting it.

Ive seen grown men on some because she said so type shyt go my wife won't let me.

The fact that you even have to "choose your battles" in your own home sounds like hell

-Nah, the concept is the same thing as outside your home. People get into arguments & if you know your significant other you know which ones need to be had versus which ones are a waste of time. Actually makes shyt easier if you have good communication.

Lot of people have single mentality. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should. If you didn't marry the wrong person chances are your wife is looking out for what's best for you and the family unit.

Since I posted that, I been married 11 years and have 3 kids. I have peace in my home my wife and I never fight, but it was a dumb post. I know people that go through this shyt and i take it back cause if I gotta choose my battles in my own home it would sound like hell.
