@ADK another way people mess up their score is by having 10 plus credit cards and going over the 30% usage rate on all of them.


A lot of these credit card holders don’t know the utilization rate is the second highest percentage on the FICO algorithm that calculates your score.

1 card for everyday use

Interesting. Every client I met who never had a card. Or didn’t have one in the past 10 years wether it be Car note, loans, mortgage etc had no score shown on their reports.

I got credit cards from a random table on my college campus. Had a part time job that allowed me to pay my monthly $1000-2000 credit card bill while in college.
Lost that job
Kept buying the same shyt.
Ended up owing $10k+
Got took to court but avoided getting my checks garnished cause I moved to a different state that had better laws in regards to statute of limitations to sue me
Had fukked up credit for 7 yrs , had to live with women for a couple years then finally got my own spot after sliding the apt complex secretary $1k to not run my credit

In my opinion it should be mandatory that every person who turns 18 get a secure credit card first

I didn’t get my first credit card until I turned 23.
