I dabbled into techno at times. But me and my engineer who has done everything from hip hop to gospel to techno to country has agreed with me. I'm not saying it's the best sonically in the history of world (which is how you guys take people's opinions sometimes) I'm just stating the reasons why MYSELF, I, ME, enjoyed it. There's nothing to "get." It's just like any other album; either you like it or you don't.

What bothers me are the people who think it's impossible to for someone to like it. Like, you have to be a super-stan, and even then, you're just pretending to like it to seem like you have this ultra-sophisticated musical palette.

And it is groundbreaking for a pop-rap artist to make a decidedly anti-pop album. Who else has done it?

I never understood why bringing up the "why" behind a song makes it better. Good music is good music regardless of the subject matter. Yeezus for what it is, is a solid 8/10 project imo. Ton of hard ass n/h songs.
