Broke boy babble. If you're working full time and earning a decent income, you are able to have at least s few thousand saved up for an emergency situation
U gotta consider shyt like does a person have a mortgage, high rent, kids, a significant other who they are carrying, etc.

Yes folks do spend too much...entirely too much but sometimes shyt happens in life....unplanned circumstances can arise. I was in hospital last year and I am still paying off medical bills and I supposedly got good insurance. EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING is high asf nowadays even co pays for medical shyt and auto insurance.

Yes folks do overspend and have expensive habits like drinking, drugs, eating out, traveling, gambling, etc but even nowadays food and rent is high along with childcare, etc. Let's not be super judgmental.

this is sad.

u gotta pay yourself first before anything. I'm talking about contributing to your retirement at a MINIMUM. if you can invest additional money, that's great. and not having any type of emergency fund is blasphemous.

I'm paying child support for the next 5 years, so I understand that that sucks, but I still contribute to my retirement, have a full emergency fund, a personal investment fund, a paid off older car (8 years old), and live in my own house that I can afford to pay the mortgage on.

on top of that, I always have some kinda side hustle, where my only goal is to make $800 a month (which I usually exceed), which is very doable.

but I don't care about extravagance. fancy clothes or fancy whips. that shyt'll keep u broke.

Real shyt on that last paragraph....that shyt keeps all kinds of folks broke.
