ive never been to Cali before...are their intimidating spots with blocks with history of violence? nyc has places where its actually sketchy for neighborhoods and blocks....unless you know someone you will run into a shady fukk every corner its a fact....cali seems too sprawled....

Yes. the weird thing with Cali is, you won't even know you're in a bad neighborhood sometimes, because there's houses and trees and it looks nice cosmetically.

oakland and richmond and some parts of san fran are really the only areas in the bay, while you have cities in jersey like newark, irvington, eo, patterson, that's all walkng distance from each other, not to mention philly, trenton, camden, chester and wilmington.

each and every on of those cities I named are and look like 3rd world countries in some parts.

Both LA and NY are very safe statistically.

Now go to east new york and tell me it's safe.
NY has some bad places like any city, but there are less bad places than there was 20 years ago.
But like LA a lot of our bad areas just moved further away from the central, like Jersey which has hoods harder than any place in the west coast, easily.

Don't sleep on NYC. I went there to Soundview PJs in the Bronx and nikkaz ran up on me. nikka was like "if you don't tell me who you are, ima splatter your fukkin melon, kid!"

It was my first time in new York and I was scared. I thought I was dead. I gave a speech about the 5 elements of hip hop and told them how much I respect the culture. Then, they saw my shirt I had on under my jacket and my "the bridge is over" tattoo and they let me go.
