that's the real disconnect is people think it's such a major thing to sell bricks or send some packs out of town. Doesn't mean he gets a 50 kilos shipment every month, but in his days, for sure he sent out a brick, or busted down a half. On a semi regular basis. it's not that big of a deal.

WIth Gibbs, it's as simple as sending a UPS box with 20 pounds of weed back to Gary, from LA, where his boys move it. He makes 2k off each one.

Gibbs is a really talented and smart rapper, who has been in the streets. Doesn't mean he's not human, or doesn't do dumb shyt. He obviously uses social media the way everyone does, self promotion, and engagement.

I don’t know what he has done or haven’t and don’t even think about. His lyrics for sure come from a place of someone who’s been around it. Definitely nuanced in a way someone can’t fabricate that easily. Ultimately most people have a very skewed view of what they think a person who’s done street stuff should be. There are plenty of people who have done dirt early in life and moved on, do dirt on the side and work a regular job. There are good kids who dabbled and plenty of dudes who would be consider “corny” that are deep in the streets. If you’ve been around enough you know life isn’t as black and white.

I went to college with some “nerds” who did various things in the streets and a few that I keep in touch with are in high level corporate gigs, making big decisions.
