Nice bodies. Girls care more about body then face. If you can get a six pack and have a nice tapered waist you'll get bytches regardless of face.
Confidence. Girls want to feel controlled. Lot of attractive dudes don't have the balls to step to a girl and really assert their dominance. Lot of ugly dudes really just don't give a fukk and thats why they get girls.
Masculinity. A lot of dudes who are considered conventionally ugly have really masculine faces. I'm one of them. Feminine girls eat that shyt up cuz it scares them. They prefer the rough/rugged intimidating look.
Social standing. I see this a lot. Average guys with hot girls. All about that social standing. Usually those average joes are a few years older than the girl in question and they have a cool social circle.
And finally just good ol' game. The way you talk to a female can totally change the way she perceives you. Not all the time, but sometimes. Different girls like different approaches. Most girls like a dude whose super straight forward though. And if you're already goodlooking/have body you basically can't fukk up.

As someone who is happy to admit he wouldn't pull women if he wasn't attractive this is something I've always wondered. My current girl has even admitted as such.
