As a black woman, yes it is a problem. We we're discussing this recently on a black women hair forum but people got defensive. I think much of it is complacency and no social pressure to be fit. Fat ass black women have no trouble scooping men. And not just black men but non black men are also very accepting of overweight and even obese black women. Society has gotten used to it and puts more pressure on white women than us. Over all other than simply giving a fukk about your health there's no outside motivator for black women to lose weight. I watch my weight because I want to look a certain way. But other overweight black women my age seem to just not care. They envy my weight but take no steps or no serious commitment to lose weight. It seems health danger is the only point that snaps BW out of it and makes them lose weight, but by that point they are already 60+ lbs overweight. And the illness may be permanent. And it always has to be a serious illness too that snaps us out of it. I wish more of my sistas cared about themselves.

Health is wealth.

White boys don't have our genetics and they bytch about it all the time, hence they stay on juice on play catch up. Regardless, I doubt those are the type of cacs you attract.
You're a hater like I said, now seethe.

Thus the social media era.. If some brehs really concern why not start health and workout groups for those in needs? Everybpdy cant afford a gym membership, so rent a space, buy some equipment, lay out a nutritional plan as well as a workout plan, get some fitness models to be the face and advertise where most women are known to be, salons, social media, etc. And for those that can afford a gym membership, get a group of black personal trainers to help them aid in reaching that goal. You aint gonna do none of that, then you just talking to be talking
