Douglas Adams got it wrong, the answer to everything is infinity, not 42

Recursion.
A principle idea in computer science.

fractals
it's similar to the 'turtles all the way down' thing though. it appeals to the infinite, and doesn't deliver a very satisfying answer
Many great philosophers have questioned what exactly is reality. Are their multiple realities like their are multiple wavelengths of light? I look at like this. You control your reality. You choose to be Neo or choose to be a slave of the system. When you figure out that your "world" is a carefully choreographed script of events to control the social order you can break the fourth wall and make your reality. When you figure out there are no real rules in the world and everyone else is following what is expected of them you will truly be free. But to break generational conditioning will be difficult so good luck to all those who want to experience it. My best advice is to throw away everything you believe to be true and go out in the world to experience truth. Travel as much as possible. Learn from different religions or no religion at all. Learn all the laws of the land and then look at them critically. What is the point of a law. What is it that it wants to accomplish. How does that relate to me? What does it stop me from doing? How does this society benefit from it? Question everything.
You control your reality. .
But do you really? You can make the case that determinism truly describes your existence.
Also, even reality has limitations. If you're born cripple, no controlling of this perceived reality is going to make your legs grow back. Therefore, there seems to be some rules to this reality.
Or do we control reality and set our own limitations?
or if we don't control it... why are there rules to the reality and what/who are those rules set by? ??
I know because I have taken all types of pills and I have never waken up in a tub with tubes sticking out of me. Well I have woken up in tubs but with no tubes and scars on my back with a note saying go to the hospital. I do not think the matrix works like that.
y would we want to reflect rules? Speaking from an evolutionary standpoint, you would think that we would develop limitless abilities if that was an option. It would be beneficial if we could fly or were immune to bacteria. Why evolve limitations?Do you think that a person can automatically grow back a completely lost limb?
Do you think a person who has their brain removed can function completely without the brain?
These seem like limitations of sorts when it comes to "making up your own reality".
I don't know. I'm a pantheist so I have my own non-scientific way of trying to conjure up several scenarios, but I'm not speaking as if I know 100% for sure.
There is a strong possibility where we simply evolved to reflect these rules, not that these rules are meant to limit us by design. A good example of this is hearing. We humans can hear certain frequencies, but we know there exists a large spectrum where we can't hear. A dog or another animal might be able to hear, and some can even communicate at these frequencies.

That doesn't make sense to me, 'us not limiting ourselves but simply reflecting these rules' - would lead one to question the reason or catalyst behind the limitations and rules.
I don't see a way around an unforeseen force sparking our realities, because if this is an illusion then the illusion is perpetuated by something -we are being deceived. If this is not an illusion, then who sets the limitations?
I think about this shyt.... I just figure that ignorance must be soooo blissful that we've trained our minds to believe in the illusions of life and ignore some of the realities.
