how do we resize a pic?

Seems like the only way to reduce the size ofa pic on here is to put it in quotation ie

pic goes here

I lokked up the VB code to resize pics by specifying height/width but doesn't seem to work on this forum.

I hate when discussing something that includes a pic and the pic is so large that it takes away from the written text
