How do white southerners differ from whites from other parts of the country?

i lived 4 months in charleston,sc, still go back 1 a year but when i first got there i expected alot of racist shyt. but it actually turned out the to be alot better than i thought. i was surprised at the hospitality i got from whites in the city, not just no malls and supermarket shyt. but u still got some cac here and there who will eye you down in certain areas. i went to a bar at folly beach around mid day with a relative who could pass as a white guy. i was in the car he went into the bar first to use the bathroom. as he comes back, i go in and ask could i use the bathroom, bartender told me "we don't have a bathroom". i just left and didn't even bother because i already knew what he was about.

Tbh I've been to Texas but was young so I didn't notice it. But in SC/NC it seemed cool, them southern women calling 'darling' and 'sweety'


Something about that politeness from a southern woman gets my North Western aß mesmerized

That's about as bad as it gets...just some looks and passive aggressive behavior. I mean, there's racist white folks everywhere in the world, but its not Rosewood or Mississippi Burning down here like these nikkas are making it out to be.

I don't know about you..but I'm from the bay..home of the panthers and children of the revolution (Vietnam , hippies , college protesters, occupy Oakland etc) if I saw that shyt I'm a fukk one of those racists up..we don't play that shyt in the Bay..it's never happened to us and it never will
