As a woman, I don't think you can tell the exact length in inches just by looking at it, but you can get a good idea and put it within a range. You can definitely look at a dikk and tell if it has enough length/girth or not, and in the end that matters more than having an exact measurement.

I can't say the average person uses a ruler regularly. In my 4 years in engineering school I can probably count on two hands the amount of times I've used a ruler.
