BY looking at their car or watch. this is scientific too, they did a study with hoes where they put the same nikka beside a bmw and a honda, hoes said the nikka beside the beamer was more attractive... Even though it was the same nikka 
I'm so glad that I never witness/pay attention to any light-skin vs dark-skin stuff IRL.
Thats why I'm so confused about it. I thought the whole colorism thing was a joke until I came to the coli lol

Unfourtunately, it definitely is an ongoing issue in our community. Same thing with hair texture. Although I don't witness it as much IRL as I do online. When I am subjected to it, it's a backwards compliment.
I've hardly seen women turn down the advances of a good looking man who is Light, Medium, or Dark IRL.
