The nerve of her. If she really wanted to date you, she’d go out with you or change the location which she would pay for.I suggested a coffee date with a girl at Starbucks and she declined. I later found out from a mutual friend that she said I was being cheap and if I really wanted to date her I would have taken her somewhere better.

No one is trying to wine and dine a chick we don’t know and won’t know if we’ll want to see again after sex.

fukk all that I take bytches who too nervous to link at my house to this rolled ice cream joint literally across from my complex. It’s like $9 bones for both cups. naaaaah you tripping. high end café=high end pastries to go with said coffee
plus it's the perfect chill environment to just have a conversation and get to know someone
plus my mornings/afternoons tend to be more flexible. you gotta work for an evening with me

Not really but it really depends on where I meet them. The girl I mentioned was a coworker. We both work nights and there is a Starbucks in the lobby of our job. I figured we can have coffee and some snacks (muffins, cookies, etc) once we got off of work.The nerve of her. I don't really ask for coffee dates anymore. The last date I went on two weeks ago was just a meet up at a hotel bar but we ended up fukking not long after that.

Most of us are not suggesting coffee dates because of being jaded, at least not for me. It's no different than going to a bar or lounge and having drinks except it's coffee instead of alcohol. Some people thinks it's being cheap and maybe it is but it's just a way for weeding out a woman who is not interested in getting to know me but just wants a free meal. If I wanted to smash, I'd hop on tinder, Hinge, etc.

Naturally I think if one's money is straight and they have a good perception through bs, $20 is nothing if you just going out to get to know someone. I can understand a woman looking at a breh sideways if he can't even afford that
But at the same time, I understand the principle of if she's really feeling you, you can take her to McDonalds and she'll treat that as the time of her life
