do y’all just put away bread for those days as if you’re paying yourself? Asking for brehs who get paid hourly. I don’t get paid vacation time and I want to go to Myrtle Beach in August for a week with the fam.
How do y’all budget for bills when going on week long trips?

First off, Myrtle Beach is trash. I dunno when u last went but... it aint what it was breh 
Second, most bills are either monthly or yearly. So either get ahead on payments as much as you can (if allowed), or choose a few things that you will cut out for a month so that you can.enjoy that vacation.
You spend 500 a month on eating out? Ok this month no restaurants.
Something like that.
Honestly i think the aveage American probably spends double that a month eating out

That’s a good idea. I’m thinking about saving a few checks...have rent paid and money saved....you know what I could just pay off my cc and pay credit for everything. Save a check for rent and be good.

Your first problem is spending a week of unpaid time in myrtle beach. Make it a long weekend fam. Your family can stay longer.
And yeah, I travel a lot so after I burn through my paid time off I have to stack money to compensate for those lost wages. You don’t have to save the exact amount that you’ll lose but you need to stack according to your bills.
If you don’t plan ahead it’s easy to come back from vacation behind and that’s trash.
Biggest favor you can do is budget your play money for the vacation well. Skip some of those $40 restaurant meals and have a turkey sammich at the hotel. Stock your room with water/liquor and everything you need. Spend money when it’s worth it, it just because

It’s not my trip, I’m going along with my uncle and aunt. So really I’ll prolly need gas, weed, food and liquor money. I prolly won’t end up paying much, they have a timeshare down there as well.

With the money I save cooking my own lunch and brewing my coffee at work I can pay for a round trip flight every 2 months.
MFs at work spending $16 a day on seemless and $5.50 a day at Starbucks

Ok. Just get ahead of them bills and make sure you come back with enough cash to keep the lights on.

Its insanity breh. Went with some friends to Sunday brunch at a nice restaurant in dallas. They had 4rounds of mamosa (bottles). They each spent over $200.... for brunch.
Brunch.
Just save up for the trip.

Yall went to some fancy restaurant in a high end hotel? I dont have $200 for brunch, ever. $35 with good food and unlimited coctails (not just mimosas) is my wave.

I have to account for lost wages for the week too.
Not because i want to.
The whole wedding industrial complex is a farce.
Tell me why a wedding cake cost 400 dollars and the delivery fee is 80? For almost 500 dollars total?
But i can go.to walmart and get just as.much cake in volume for 30 bucks, and have them delivery it for 5?
Its all fake.
Wedding rings cost is inflated
Cakes, inflated
Venue, inflated
Photographer, inflated.
I havr contemplated going to the court and being like.. "oops, oh well we married so......."
