. always buy the bigger pack on the store shelf its better value for money by far.

. make use of constant spring cleaning, you find a lot of beneficial things you could use or make use of hidden in the mess.

. only order take out on weekends if that.

. invest in the right cooking utensils it will make cooking easier and time saving as well as money.

. have 2 separate accounts a savings and a debit/credit. that way budgeting is done automatically and you are option less but to implement saving strategies.

I have a monthly budget sheet created from my job that I can email to anyone on this thread. All the formulas are already attached so all you have to do is put in the numbers and excel automatically does the rest. There are also tabs and for weekly budgets that is automatically divided.

I can email it.

good looking out. i got one of those sheets behind my kitchen door, food is the most i spend on so i am always checking regularly.

i could do with motivational incentives, like group pressure to make at least 25% savings per month. it would also be dope to see what other frugal ways people are adopting in these harsh realities. lol.

For food I mostly do groceries and before I started cooking I learned to give myself a food budget of $50 a week. Had to sit down and analyze the area I worked in to find out all the cheap eats.

Also instead of driving and using the train I just drive.

You also have to know how much debt you can afford easily if you have any credits and then utilize them correctly so your left over money doesn’t go to just paying off debt

last 2 months more left my account than went in, and its been a shakey last year with that.

if i can survive on 50.00 a week that would be great, but im a smoker too so i should start looking for different methods to budget.

props bro, thanks.

If you drink make sure you buy a bottle and pack it in your suitcase before you leave.

Liquors prices are thru the roof at most destinations.

The 4 things I notice that kill people’s budget are:

1.) Uber rides
2.) Eating out with no control or ordering uber eats etc
3.) Cigarette smokers
4.) Lottery Ticket players

Im 2 for 4 there. I am now practicing only getting take-out on the weekends and i'm trying to transition my smoking into that too.

im about to buy aa winter jackets and a couple garments, all my other expenses are done for the year like paints and etc.

so 11 more months to save % since it will hopefully just be food and bills. i will take it as a challenge, its only a positive leap forward if i slip up at least im amidst the right path.
