You share their success because you see and feel their struggle, so you excited when they make it because they have gone through similar shyt and you can relate so much, man I used to think Kanye was talking to me in his music when I was a young teenager, I loved everything Kanye until My Dark Twisted Fantasy, so I can see that

I used to stan Muslimgauze hard, he was an ethnic ambient musician who made an album a week, left over 200 whole albums after he passed away.

He was all I listened to, I copied his production style, made one EP a week for a year, read all his interviews, etc. He even indirectly influenced me to convert to Islam for a while.
