You make a good point, but if you not even going to try then I dunno what to tell you.

Had you actually made an attempt and got denied, then I can respect it. but majority of these dudes havent even tried and truth be told, they just dont want to leave their block or wtv you wanna call it.

That's easy to say from the outside looking in. Your parents did the heavy lifting for you and you are co-opting their experience to lecture others on what you feel they should be doing, no matter how impractical. Even an attempt at emigrating is expensive and time consuming, money and time being a premium, and you're just like "fukk it, try it anyway." Easy for you to say, it's not your time or money.

I will give you the fact that on an individual level it makes sense, but you are advocating for the migration of a mass of people. A disenfranchised, demonized people to a country that is notoriously hard to emigrate to for an individual.

No it isn't. You are comparing small populations to a large one. Neither of those countries are sustaining a ton of people.
What?:comeon:
The Bahamas has a stronger GDP per capita

That's a logical fallacy. A favorite of white people. That's just not how the world works. Congratulations to your family but their situation was unique i.e. had a set of circumstances the next family may not have.

so what do you suppose you do ? just throw your hands up in the air and not try? c'mon man.

:yeshrug: my parents come from one of the poorest continents in the world and started a family here. If they can do it, anyone can.

You just have to be focused and really want to do it. It sounds like its just "too much work" for some nikkas

I'm happy for them. So you want us to move from the richest country in the world to yours? No thanks. Pros dont outweigh the cons. I'm not convinced Canada is really THAT different from the US to begin with when it comes to social problems.

not trying to lecture anyone. just trying to stop people from going to these excuses. your right my parents did all the heavy lifting for me. Your absolutely right. I'm fortunate.

You can take that information in two ways, motivation to do the same for your self and your family, or just throw ur hands up and say its too hard.

do what you feel is best breh. Just sparking up a conversation for my american brehs.

Part of the problem is you define riches as some form of monetary value. material things.

Id say material wise your country is rich, but its fukkin poor as shyt morally and socially.

why not africa?

African would be the best solution for blacks since they won't have to worry about being accepted in a white mans country, but mos African countries don't really have good middle class or job market. Someone should come up with a solution to rebuild Africa, I mean technically it is blacks homeland

Why nikkas so afraid to leave where they are treated worse than dogs? Sound like some slave shyt to me but thats another conversation.

it kind of reminds me of the stories you hear of inmates who are affraid of being released because they spent 30+ years in prison and thats all they know. They will do ANYTHING to go back to prison.

this sort of reminds me of that. :snoop:

and by no means am I saying toronto is some land of the free. but I just feel like something has to change. I got family in the states and I dont want to get that call one day.
