How do you black americans continue to live there?

a few factors

- America is still the largest economy per capita in the world, and most Blacks still live a fairly decent lifestyle because of this (although way too many of our community lives in fairly terrible conditions do the outright economic warfare historically waged against us)
- folks find it hard to permanently leave their home country no matter how fukked up it is towards them
- Africa is still recovering from colonialism and is still relatively undeveloped which makes it harder to attract black expats who don't have direct recent ties though the tide is turning for a good chunk of African countries, they are still a few decades away
- West Indies are a bit more developed but suffer from some of the same problems and don't have as much land to hold a bunch of immigrants
- Europe and Canada have funky immigration standards and many of the same racial problems, though probably not to the scale we do here in America

Families were torn apart, women were raped, little children were made to work until their skin bled as early as the age of 6. Backs were beaten until the white meat showed. Body parts were cut off if they ran away. We as blacks did everything for the United States and some of y'all got the nerve to say we should run away?

The social/political environments of most of these African countries aren't stable. They have their own set of problems to deal with as far as pacifying tensions between the individual ethnic groups. Now, you want to throw African-Americans into the mix? It's an unfortunate reality that many(not all) Africans hate African-Americans, so to throwing us into the mix would most definitely cause social unrest, and most possibly, war. This is the reason I haven't made any serious considerations about repatriation. We could be just as easily locked out of prosperity in the motherland as we are here in CACaylon.

Maybe it is a strong word, but it applies... Relations in America between immigrant diasporans and African-Americans aren't roses. We can't get along here. Don't think for a moment that the members of these ethnic groups in these African countries wouldn't get upset if African-Americans came over en masse, started setting up shop and had success. I personally feel that we're the same, however, a lot of people, Africans and non-American blacks don't share the same sentiment.

What happened with Liberia doesn't make it any easier. Africans use that an example as to why African-Americans shouldn't be trusted... I'll admit.. African-Americans that repatriated made mistakes, but the US government was the reason why that situation didn't work. The circumstances are different now and I feel the problems that came from that situation can be avoided.

Regardless, African-Americans aren't favored that highly. Our numbers in the motherland are minute. That is the reason why it's quiet... for now.

Don't matter if it's the Jew or the Chinaman's land, if my people are in need of my helping hand or time, I'll give it to them. That's what a community does. Look out and help one another. I couldn't live with myself just packing it up and leaving when there are (black) people who's lives I can have a positive effect on. Only a coward walks away when shyt get's tough.
