How do you convince black developers/software engineers to work with u?

so I'm coming to y'all and asking directly.

I live in Atlanta and have talked to black developers/software engineers that won't make that "jump" be poor for a minute to get rich later. However I have approached white dudes and they are hitting me up to this day trying to work with my company.


How do I convince black engineers to work with me?

If the "white ones" are jumping to work with you, maybe they have been making more money than black ones in your area.

I can't imagine why anyone (white black mexican etc.) would turn down a good opportunity if the money was right

have you hit up local universities? you could def. find interest there, even in an intern capacity.

if you're serious, i'm sure if you spoke w/ a career development rep. at any school, they'd be able to forward it to like-minded people.
may just need to hire a white face to make a viable pitch too if they're

I'm working for a startup that offered equity in the company and I only took that job because I have another development job with guaranteed pay and benefits. I would love to work on an all Black team and build something but it's not that simple.

I'm plugged at morehouse but the dudes that could do it just 2, are getting paid they gone. The other ones I'll have to hand hold and that'll take too long. Spelman girls think I'm just trying to fukk with a non legit company, no clue how to convince them I'm not.

Database and queries would move past it quickly in 6 months. But I gotta produce revenue and u can produce revenue using that at the present
