Apparently Atlanta is a very hot market for tech. I don't see a lot of "Twitter Famous" / "Github Famous" black devs from there though. What's the deal? Can somebody break down the racial composition for tech jobs in Atlanta for me?

Clearly you've never lived around a significant amount of south asians / east asians. Race loyalty may not always pan out but when it does it achieves beautiful results. I wouldn't actively discriminate against talented devs but I'd definitely be biased towards hiring black devs just because of the struggles I know they must endure in the industry.

In the black tech world there is a mini battle going on, with who should be the face hbcu people or pwi black ppl. More pwi in the space but idk there's just some discourse about working collaborative. A pwi accelerator that was going to be a Howard and morehouse/spelman got nixed by some old head hbcu grad bc a pwi dude was running it. These were going to be state of the art facilities too. All bc of some bs ole school pride stuff. It also stopped a black vc fund for all black people bc the hbcu ppl
Wanted it just for them. So much progress is stopped off hbcu pride bs it's ridiculous
