I was just talking about in General. But My school choice is what im thinking about.One of my close friends who's like a brother to me is going to this cc and he wanted me to come with him. The only problem is , i dont have a car so it'll take me about A hour and twenty-seven minutes to get there according to google maps.That the only problem. I live in the hood and im not trying to go to one of these hood schools because i want a New experience with a different surrounding cause im tired of the same shyt

The Pros: 1.Its a good School
2.I'll already know somebody who's there that knows people there so socialy I'll be alright
3.It'll be my first college experience

Do as much research as possible, look for anonymous opinions, do a pros and cons list to see what makes the most sense in the long run, and finally ask close friends/family on their input (usually after I'm leaning on one thing or another;you have to be able to explain why you think it'd a good choice).

As for your situation, I think you should go to the school. Their is probably nothing for you in the hood. The distance isn't too big of a deal if you're willing to room with your friend near the campus. Sounds like a lot of great experiences waiting to happen

Go with your gut instinct. Don't listen to many voices from the outside unless they are elders with experience. The end of the day you have to make them decisions and do what feels right...from the gut/initial instinct.
