A train ride is one part of the equation, then it's maybe at the grocery store, then the bank, then a job, then a whole community, then a whole city, then a whole state.

While I'm the last person who seek acceptance from whites, it bothers me when they consciously avoid contact or the sight of my face.

I was on the train today and I actually counted how many times variant ethnic whites and American bred whites avoided siting next to me.

There were seats completely taken up the opposite side of me and they looked over in my direction and there was A WHOLE fukkING ROW OF EMPTY seats. This one lady acted like the choice was equivalent to her defusing a bomb with 10 seconds left. She looked around to see if anyone noticed her reluctance to sit on the same seat as me and then got frustrated and moved to the OTHER end of the train.

This is nothing new and it's even books written on this subject matter from authors that live in large diverse metropolitan areas. But I seriously want to know how do you deal with this, or perceive it?


My personal belief is that "bytch I'm better than you, how dare you turn up your nose at me like sitting next to me somehow negatively affects you" ...it's the fact that I can't express this to them that bothers me. Like who do you think you are? It's the only reason I respect black kids and the knockout game, these little muthafukkas are more expressive and less tolerant of blatant disrespect than us old folks. Like "bytch!, you see this though right?!"





My reasoning is how can you emphasize these attacks as "harassment" without even being curious as to the social psychology behind it? It's not OKAY to ignore us in a way that offends who we are, like we aren't even worthy of acknowledgement.

Clearly I'm not gonna go around hitting every white person that ignores me, but I can't say I don't get satisfaction out of seeing my young brothers smack the shyt out of them out of their flawed reality where our presence as blacks is okay to be unacknowledged.
