i bet you had them cacs looking at you with extra hate sauce on the side!:russ:
they can't stand a breh looking all dappered up:salute:

They show their disdain when it’s time to promote...other than that it is all smiles and love.

Lot of brehs won’t do this, but you can buy used clothes to save money. Goodwills and other thrift stores in rich areas, high end consignment shops, and ebay all got pretty much whatever you looking for. Like I fukk with Nudies hard, I own 11 pairs, they 34/36 size fit me better than any other denim brand. But 6 out of that 11 pair I bought used, they cost bout 200-400 new, I usually drop bout 60-100 for the used joints. It’s selvage denim anyway, it takes me years to break in the new ones I buy, so when I buy them used they already broken in or on the road to being broken in. I have no issues with that at all. When it comes to shoes I buy the staples new, boots or the black and brown dress shoes, the sneaker releases that I have to grab, but I go to ebay for the deals. I’m not copping no new Ballys from Neiman’s, I’m going to ebay for shyt like that. Same with tops, basic solid staples is purchased new from the normal spots, but if I’m looking for a unique item like a Polo bear sweater Ima look for a used one. Or I might just browse my size on a slow night to see what deals I can find under the used search. Just snatched the Vapormax Pure Platinum Uni Red joints for 150, excellent condition, no flaws at all. Was watching that item for a few weeks, it was at 210 and dude added the send offer option after a while, I already knew what time it was and low balled. If you do shyt like that you can grab pretty much every sought after release for about 30-50% cheaper. Yeah they used, but you phase them in with the new stuff you get and after a while you have so much that no one can tell the difference.

Lay off of us knock kneed brehs...:mjcry:

OP, Les Freres Joachim were these black guys from Paris that I followed years ago when I first started getting into my style. Their style has evolved from classic and timeless to a more trendy minimalist now but their old stuff is still good.

I have a beanie and a jacket just like the guy in first pic and I rock that in the cooler months. Couldn’t wear it with that extra suit though.

I remember when this photo shoot came out.

These guys were doing a black version of Take Ivy. Take Ivy was this book that came out in the 1960's by this Japanese fashion photographer that pretty much became one of the biggest influences in the Ivy, Trad, and Prep looks.

Yeah, bought the book a few years ago when it came back into print.

For the record I don’t beleive in dressing up with nowhere to go.

This is why fly sweat pants was made. It’s fly and comfortable and perfect to wear if you aren’t going anywhere.

I know a guy with a stylist business who preaches that 24/7 dress up y’all but I’m not buying it.

His philosophy is that you never know who you’ll meet and where you’ll meet them.

Well my counter philosophy is that I ain’t trying to meet anyone while I run to get me a Baconeggandcheese at the corner store!

He's not talking to you. He's talking to hustlers and go getters.

Whats the purpose of it? Or is just for a look?. Where do you buy em at also and are they supposed to be only word with plain colored ties?

It’s actually very functional and it keeps your tie in place by clipping it to your shirt. For instance, I’m 6’ 4’’ so whenever I was my hands I have to bend over just a bit to get my hands under the faucet. Now if I have a tie on without a clip...as I lean forward my tie could potentially get into the water. With a tie clip my tie stays affixed to my shirt and so I dom’t have to worry about it getting wet. I wear a suit every day so little things like Tie Clips make life much easier. Ontop of that, they look super cool and they finish off your outift. Here’s a picture of one:

You wear it beneath your pecs/sternum...anything above that serves no purpose as it won’t hold your tie in place.
