I went to HS with a black Juggalo. Dude was an outcast to 99% of the school, but he chilled with the Juggalo contingent (maybe 15 kids out of 2000). I thought shyt was bizarre but it didn't bother me.

How is it an empowering term of endearment when white people still can't use it, and a lot of blacks choose not to use it?

Black revolutionaries like Huey Newton and Bobby Seale and Eldridge Cleaver started using the term as a way to rebel against the burgeoning "house ******" in Amerikkka, so they started calling themselves "******s" as in "bad ******s" to differentiate themselves from the house ******s.

Eventually, being a ******(as in "bad ******(anti establishment)") was the way to be, but ignorant ass nikkaz confused anti-establishment revolutionaries with being drug dealers, pimps, gangbangers, and then it became ANYbody who didn't fit the "house negro" asthetic, be they Black militants or ignant ass thugs were considered "nikkaz".

Eventually the "nikkaz" won out and all the Black revolutionaries mostly died or went to jail or sold out (like Eldridge Cleaver) and now we don't even associate the word "nikka" with being anti-establishment, but with being a lazy shiftless stereotype that White folks use for their entertainment.
