take into account that the last couple hundreds of years aren't everything.

WELL LEMME TELL YA SUMTHIN BROTHER! LEMME GIVE YOU THIS QUOTE FROM THE GREAT PHYSICIST RICHARD FEYNMAN, DUDE!

We are at the very beginning of time for the human race. It is not unreasonable that we grapple with problems. But there are tens of thousands of years in the future. Our responsibility is to do what we can, learn what we can, improve the solutions, and pass them on.

HOLLYWOOD WILL TELL YOU EXACTLY HOW HE FEELS ABOUT BEING A HUMAN, CHAMP! WE'VE GOT A MEAN SET OF GENES, MEAN GENE! IF OUR PROGRESS CONTINUES AT ANYTHING RESEMBLING THIS RATE, WE SHOULD ALREADY RAISE A TOAST TO OURSELVES AS THE ANCESTORS OF A MONUMENTAL BIOLOGICAL ACHIEVEMENT IN THE MILKY WAY GALAXY, BROTHER!

The human being is far too fragile, vulnerable and gullible. Hes both physically and mentally weak, living his life for the most part crippled by fear and a slave to pleasure. They willingly sacrifice themselves, that is who they are "deep down" to fit into some group or "ideal image" no matter how foolish and potentially harmful it may be. :snoop:

They live in total contradiction.

Also Human beings go about life most confusingly, battling their neighbors over vague abstractions of belief, shinny rocks and so on..

They always seem to choose to make life far more difficult for themselves too through ignorance. That which is free they decide to claim ownership over, put it in bondage and try to sell it: for example water, wood, fruits and vegetables, nuts, seeds.....the land of the earth, and even human beings themselves. :mindblown:

One can go on on about the so-called 'negatives' about human beings i think, but you know theres also some good to being human too, for example unlike the animals we have free will - oh wait no we dont... we are a slave to the concept of time, the passing of our own age, by the air we breathe, by the food we eat, by our biological constraints and so on. :deadmanny:

Man is not free. Yet he thinks he his because he can 'choose.' Consider a man in prision, does the fact that he can choose where to sit inside of his cell make him a free man?

Or one of these street philosophers saying nonsense in the middle of new york city

I'll take being a human any day over any other species who's brainpower can't ever be on the same level

Being concious about life potential and seeing technology and humans able to prosper and create things that an animal can't begin to understdand

There are several other species that are self aware, and oddly enough they all seem to live among each other better than we do.

We may be smarter, but that doesn't necessarily make us better and there's even thought that Whales could be more intelligent -
